03/11/2025

The website of the Caucasus Investment Forum (25–27 May, Mineralnye Vody) has published the business programme architecture. The main theme of this year’s Forum is ‘Investment Path: Past. Present. Future’. The business programme will focus on economic growth, entrepreneurship development and the creation of a favourable investment climate for the regions. The Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation.

“This year, the business programme of the Caucasus Investment Forum will expand significantly. It will cover a wide range of development issues in the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts, as well as the CIS countries, the Caspian and Black Sea basins. I am confident that the eventful agenda of the Forum will attract the attention of both Russian and foreign investors and entrepreneurs, whom we are waiting for in the North Caucasus, one of the fastest growing regions of Russia. The guests will also be treated to a large exhibition programme that will reflect its diversity, rich culture and traditions,” noted Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak.

Work on the programme of the Caucasus Investment Forum is carried out year-round. This year’s key topics will include investments in infrastructure, transport, digital technologies, as well as agribusiness and energy, which together create the basis for sustainable growth in the North Caucasus Federal District. In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, special attention will be paid to the preservation of historical memory and patriotic education.

“Today, the North Caucasus is a region that offers opportunities for economic development and various types and formats of business. According to forecasts, the volume of investments to be attracted by the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District by 2030 will reach almost two trillion roubles. The main areas of growth are agro-industrial complex, tourism and resorts. I am confident that the Caucasus Investment Forum will once again become a platform for an open dialogue between representatives of the authorities and the business community and will serve as a catalyst for the launch of new major projects. The Forum is timely and necessary for the region to fulfil its investment,” said Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Forum Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov.

One of the important topics of discussion will be the prospects of the agro-industrial complex. Forum participants will discuss the industry’s export potential, opportunities for implementing innovative solutions, and the role of digitalization in agriculture, industry and transport. The events of the Forum business programme will also touch upon the development of tourism and resorts. During the sessions, participants will discuss the creation of the Caucasus brand as a year-round resort, the development of tourism infrastructure, as well as the upgrading of energy and housing infrastructure with a focus on environmental sustainability.

“In recent years, the role of the North Caucasus in economic development has grown significantly, including through the implementation of nationally significant projects. Business looks to the North Caucasus as a good investment platform. The purpose of the Forum is to show how the investment climate has changed. The Caucasus Investment Forum platform will strengthen international integration and provide new trade and logistics chains,” said Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov.

The Forum will include the award ceremony of the All-Russian Investment Award ‘Vershina’, which recognizes significant contribution to the development of the economy and investment potential of the country.

The Forum will conclude with a Youth Day dedicated to entrepreneurial projects, environmental protection, robotics and media projects. Young specialists will offer their solutions to current challenges in infrastructure and agricultural production, as well as demonstrate innovative approaches to start-ups and regional development.

“The year’s Forum will focus on important thematic blocks that can change the economic landscape of the region. In 2024, the volume of investment in fixed assets in the North Caucasus Federal District totalled RUB 1.27 trillion, which is 30% more than the previous year. We see growing interest in long-term investments in the region, and our task is to turn this potential into real economic results. The Forum has become a platform for finding solutions that will accelerate this process and provide new opportunities for all participants,” added Vladimir Zatynaiko, Deputy CEO of the Roscongress Foundation and Director of the Caucasus Investment Forum.

The Caucasus Investment Forum 2025 will become a significant event for strengthening international contacts and exchange of experience between government agencies, business and the expert community. The Forum continues to expand its scope, and each new agreement signed within its framework will become an impetus for economic progress.
